Steps For The Future – PC game available for download

 In NDCO Projects, Resources

After repeated requests and many delays, the STEPS FOR THE FUTURE Windows PC game is now available for direct download.

The game was created by a collaboration of NDCO Region 22 and James Cook University students studying the Diploma in Multimedia Game Development.  The game was first released in March 2010.  Up until now the game has only been distributed on CD.  NDCO’s in Regions 20 & 22 have distributed more than 5,000 free copies of the game to schools, community groups, disability support services, training providers, employment services and individuals.

The game provides a platform to engage young people and carries strong messages about what can be achieved by a person with a disability who shows determination and seeks the support of family, friends and specialist support services, all while allowing young people to enjoy the gameplay.
